Minister of Health and Mass Media Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa stated that two gazette notifications are expected to be issued next Friday for recruitment to fill vacancies in the nursing service.

This was announced at the cabinet decision-informing media briefing held yesterday (15).

The minister further stated that steps will be taken to recruit 2,650 of the 2020 to 2022 GCE Advanced Level (AL) candidates and 850 nursing degree graduates.
