The Department of Meteorology states that showers or thundershowers are likely to occur in many parts of the island after 1.00 pm today (01).

The Department stated that some places in the Sabaragamuwa, Central, Uva, and North-Central provinces may experience fairly heavy showers exceeding 50 mm.

The Department of Meteorology further stated that showers are also likely to occur in the coastal areas of the Weste and Southe provinces during the mo ing.
