The Department of Meteorology says that rain or thundershowers may occur in places throughout the island today (29) in the evening or during the night.

The department mentions that it may rain in the mo ing in Weste and Sabaragamuwa provinces and Galle and Matara districts.

The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
