Arrested former President Ranil Wickremesinghe has been brought to the Fort Magistrate's Court.

He was arrested by the Criminal Investigation Department this afte oon (22).

This was after he gave a statement regarding an incident in which gove ment funds were allegedly used for a private foreign trip.
