 
                        As of yesterday (30) evening, Sri Lanka Customs has crossed the two trillion rupee mark in tax revenue this year.
Customs Director General Seevali Arukgoda stated that Sri Lanka Customs is successfully reaching the revenue target of Rs. 2.115 trillion for the year 2025.
Customs has ea ed this record revenue, marking the highest revenue collected by the gove ment's tax revenue collection department in a year.
Motor vehicles have reportedly contributed Rs. 630 billion to the total revenue.
Accordingly, Sri Lanka Customs says that it will be able to collect about Rs. 300 billion more than the revenue target by the end of the year.
