A group of retired war heroes have today (24) engaged in a protest at the Polduwa Parliament Roundabout.

They are demanding that their dependents receive their pensions without any cuts after their death.

It is reported that this protest has been implemented by the National Organization for the Protection of War Heroes' Rights.

Many retired war heroes from the tri-forces and the police have joined this.
