The Sri Lankan team managed to record a 2-wicket victory in the second ODI between the visiting Zimbabwe and Sri Lanka.
After winning the toss in the match held at the Colombo R. Premadasa Stadium, Zimbabwe cricket captain Greg Irwin decided to bat first.
The Zimbabwean team scored 208 runs in 43 overs.
When the Sri Lankan team played the reply innings and scored 49 runs for the loss of 2 wickets, the match had to be temporarily suspended at 7.23 pm due to rain.
The match started again at 8.15 pm.
Accordingly, with one more over left, the Sri Lankan team managed to score 211 runs by losing 8 wickets.
The third and final one day match tomorrow (11) Arrangements have been made to hold it at the Colombo R. Premadasa Stadium.
