The Sri Lankan team managed to win the last one-day match against the visiting Afghanistan team in Hambantota by 9 wickets today.

Chasing a target of 117 runs, the Sri Lankan batsmen crossed the winning line after losing one wicket in 16 overs.

Pathum Nissanka and Dimuth Karunaratne scored half-centuries for the Sri Lankan team.

Accordingly, the Sri Lankan team won the ODI series consisting of three matches 2-1.
