The Department of Meteorology says that occasional rain or thundershowers are possible in Weste , Sabaragamuwa, North, South and North-West provinces.

The Department of Meteorology states that some places in those areas will receive more than 75 mm of heavy rain.

After 1.00 pm it is said that there will be rain or thundershowers at other areas.
