A special meeting was held yesterday (10) between Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya and representatives of the European Union External Action Service who are in the country.
It was held at the Prime Minister's Office.
The importance of further strengthening the long-standing partnership between Sri Lanka and the European Union was emphasized during this meeting.
The prime minister also praised the continued support provided by the European Union and expressed her gratitude for the assistance provided in rebuilding the country after Cyclone Ditva.
