The Court of Appeal has issued an interim order preventing the implementation of a gazette notification issued by the Minister of Sports.

It is regarding a gazette notice issued suspending the activities of Mr. Risley Elias, President of the Sri Lanka Rugby Institute.
 
It is stated in the order that this interim order will remain in effect until the hearing of the petition is over.
