Tsunami waves that occurred after the strong earthquake of 7.5 on the Richter scale in Japan have hit the northe coast of Japan.

Japanese authorities said waves as high as 1.2 meters hit the coast of Ishikawa Prefecture.

A tsunami wave of 0.8 meters hit Toyama city in Toyama province.

So far, no damage has been reported from the tsunami waves or the earthquake.
