A clash has broken out in the Turkish Parliament today (12).

This was due to the opposition's objection to the swearing-in of Akin Gurlek, who was appointed as the new Minister of Justice by the Turkish government.

Akin Gurlek, who was appointed in this way, has also served as the country's former chief prosecutor.
