An organization dealing with health and safety in Britain has made a comment about a species of bacteria.

This species of bacteria is reported to grow near ponds and rivers.

It is called Legionella.

It is reported that if they inhale small water droplets containing this species of bacteria, they will develop severe pneumonia.

Although this can be treated with antibiotics, it can lead to lung failure and even death.
