South Korea has passed a new law regarding the slaughter of dogs.
It aims to end the slaughter of dogs and the sale of their meat by 2027.
Foreign media reported that through this law, the centuries-old tradition of eating dog meat will end.
It is also said that the majority of young people in the country have started to refuse dog meat.
Apart from this, prison sentences are also to be given to those who violate the relevant law.
