The Department of Meteorology says that there will be several periods of rain in Weste , Sabaragamuwa and North-Weste provinces and Galle and Matara districts today (25).

It is also said that rain or thundershowers will occur at places in the evening or night in Central, Uva and Easte provinces.

The Department of Meteorology requests the people to take necessary measures to reduce the dangers caused by temporary strong winds and lightning that may occur with thunderstorms.
