Free Trade Zone Investors' Federation says that 20% of some large-scale garment factories have been closed for up to three months after December.

And so far 10 organizations have paid compensation and removed the employees.

Dhammika Fe ando, the president of that federation, said that 50% of the small and medium scale factories have been closed so far.
