The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation says that the bids related to the restructuring of SriLankan Airlines will be opened next month.

The ministry said the bidders have requested time to submit the prices.

The Cabinet had approved the restructuring of SriLankan Airlines.

The Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Aviation further stated that after forwarding the proposal to the Treasury, it discussed with the World Bank in this regard.
