The Railways Department has announced the cancellation of 33 train services today as drivers and driver assistants failed to report for duty.

Ten mo ing train services were initially cancelled, with an additional 23 set to be cancelled throughout the day.

Affected routes include 13 services on the main line, eight on the coastal line, six on the Puttalam line, and six on the Kelani Valley line. The department has advised commuters to check schedules and seek alte ative transportation options where possible.
