Examination Commissioner General Amith Jayasundara mentioned that the evaluation of answer sheets related to 2 subjects has been completed by now.

The evaluation of the answer sheets of 6 other subjects has started and the evaluation of the answer sheets of other subjects is planned to start next week.

The activities will take place in 10 centers across the island.

The Commissioner General of Examinations mentioned that it is planned to carry out the A-level evaluations so that the general level examination season which starts on May 29 will not be affected.

Steps have been taken to use teachers for the purpose without disturbing the school teaching activities.

Amith Jayasundara said that necessary arrangements will be made for practical tests during the evaluation of the answers.

Due to the strike of the university teachers and the teachers not applying for the required amount of evaluations, the evaluations of this year's A-level examination were delayed for more than two and a half months.
