A foreign woman has been arrested by the Katunayake Airport Customs with a stock of Kush drugs worth Rs. 460 million that was illegally brought into the country.

Sri Lanka Customs stated that 46 kilograms of Kush drugs were found in 02 of her luggage.

A 21-year-old British woman has been arrested.

It is reported that she had arrived in Sri Lanka from Bangkok, Thailand, on a SriLankan Airlines flight.

The British woman who was arrested has been handed over to the officers of the Katunayake Airport Police Narcotics Bureau for further investigation.
