An accident has occurred this mo ing (13) when a lorry collided with a motorcycle and crashed into a tree near the Marawila Hospital on the Colombo-Chilaw main road.

Police stated that 12 people were injured in the accident and have been admitted to the Marawila Hospital.

Police stated that a group of people who had gone to Colombo from Thonigala, Anamaduwa to observe Vesak have been involved in this accident.
