Prisons Commissioner Jagath Weerasinghe revealed that over 230,000 school children in the Colombo district alone suffer from drug addiction.

This was stated yesterday (27) while participating in a program to educate school children on the prevention of drug abuse held at the Godapitiya National School in Akuressa.
