A fire broke out in a storage room of a tourist hotel located on the Grand Hotel Road in Nuwara Eliya yesterday (06).

The Nuwara Eliya Police stated that the fire destroyed a number of electrical appliances, including fu iture belonging to the tourist hotel, in the storage room.

It is reported that no one was injured in the fire.

The Nuwara Eliya Police have initiated an investigation into the cause of the fire through several departments.
