The Hambantota Magistrate's Court has ordered the release of Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa on bail, against whom an arrest warrant had been issued.

This was after he appeared before the court this morning (29) after arriving from the Maldives.

A warrant had been issued by the court yesterday (28) to arrest him for failing to appear in a case being heard at the Hambantota Magistrate's Court.
