US President Donald Trump says he will set a new deadline for Russian President Vladimir Putin to agree to a ceasefire with Ukraine.

He said he would set a new deadline of 10 or 12 days.

The US president has also threatened to impose sanctions or secondary tariffs if he does not comply, foreign media reported.
