A massive fire has broken out in Putra Heights, Selangor state, near the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur.

Foreign media reported that the fire was caused by a gas pipe bursting near a gas station.

As a result, the country's security forces have informed the public to evacuate nearby residential areas.
