The Government Medical Officers' Association says that doctors at the Ratnapura Teaching Hospital will implement a token strike.

This is to protest the actions of the hospital director.

Assistant Secretary of the association, Dr. Hansamal Weerasuriya, stated that the token strike will be implemented for a period of 24 hours from 8.00 am today (28).
