A suspect was arrested today (17) with a stock of foreign-made cigarettes and beedis that were illegally brought into the country.

The Airport Police Narcotics Bureau said that the value of the cigarettes and beedis seized by the police is over two hundred and thirty-eight thousand rupees.

The police stated that the arrested person is a 33-year-old motor mechanic residing in Walallawita, Mathugama.beedis.
