A stock of live ammunition has been found near a canal in the Nagahawala area of ​​Sirikadura, Mathugama.

The police stated that 50 M. P. M. G. bullets, 6 T. 56 bullets, 2 shotgun bullets, 6 .38-type bullets, and 12 9 mm pistol bullets were found here.

The Mathugama Police further stated that information has not yet been revealed regarding the suspects who left the stock of ammunition at the location and that investigations have been initiated.
