A special discussion was held yesterday (17) between IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva and Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

It was held at Temple Trees, Colombo.

At the meeting, IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva expressed her appreciation for Sri Lanka’s current economic stability and the commitment shown by the current government to it.

The Prime Minister’s Office stated that special attention was also paid to the program being implemented by the government to successfully manage the damage caused by natural disasters and the existing economic challenges.
