This is due to a sudden breakdown in the main water supply line that supplies water from Ambathale to Dehiwala.

This water cut will affect the following areas (Moratuwa, Rawathawatta, Zoysa Pura, Ratmalana, Mount Lavinia, Dehiwala, Wellawatte, Pamankada, Mulleriyawa, and Kolonnawa).

The National Water Supply and Drainage Board stated that it is expected that the water supply will be restored before 6.00 am tomorrow (19).
