The Department of Meteorology says that showers or thundershowers may occur at places in many parts of the island after around 1.00 pm.

The Department stated that showers may occur in some places in the Southe Province during the mo ing.

The Department of Meteorology also stated that heavy showers exceeding 75 mm may occur in the Weste , Sabaragamuwa, Central, Southe , Uva and North Central provinces and in some places in the Kurunegala District.
