Environment Minister Dr. Dhammika Patabendi says that permission will be granted to resume the Ambuluwawa Cable Car Project if it is confirmed that there is no environmental damage.

He said that steps have been taken to temporarily stop the relevant project due to complaints received.

The minister made this statement while speaking to the media after participating in an observation tour of the Ambuluwawa area.

Member of Parliament Anuradha Jayaratne, who attended the event, stated that the relevant project will not cause any environmental damage.
