A road accident occurred today (24) near a petrol station in the Pannipitiya area on the High Level Road.

Police stated that one person died and three others were injured in the accident.

The accident occurred when a bus that was trying to avoid a three-wheeler that was carelessly trying to enter the road from the petrol station collided with a lorry parked on the road.
