Fast bowler Ebadot Hossain has been removed from the Bangladesh squad named for the 2023 Asia Cup.

It is due to the fact that Ebadot, who suffered a leg injury during the one-day series against Afghanistan, has not fully recovered yet.

Bangladesh cricket chief sports doctor Debashis Chowdhury said that he was removed from the Asia Cup because he is essential for the upcoming World Cup.
 
Accordingly, a new fast bowler named Tanzim Hasan has been included in the Bangladesh squad to fill the void of Ebadot.
