As part of the inte ational pledge to protect the environment, Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva has presented a plan to eliminate deforestation by 2030.

Foreign media reported that through this plan, a method has been presented to prevent and control the deforestation in the Amazon forest.

This has also been introduced as a new step to combat climate change.
