Acting Inspector General of Police Mr. Deshbandu Tennakoon says that the special program to identify drivers who violate traffic rules will be started from January 22.

It is under surveillance through the CCTV system installed in Colombo city.

Accordingly, the Acting Inspector General of Police said that the traffic offenders will be identified and the fines will be forwarded to the nearest police station of the registered owner of the vehicle.
