Former South Korean President Sentenced to 5 Years in Prison



A court in South Korea has sentenced former South Korean President Yoon Suk-yeol to 5 years in prison today (16).

This is in relation to the charges against him for the failed martial law declaration he attempted to implement in 2024.

The Seoul Central District Court has found him guilty of abuse of power, obstruction of justice, and falsification of gove ment documents.
