The value of the official reserve assets held by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka has increased slightly to US$ 6,095 million by the end of February 2025.
It is reported that this value was recorded at US$ 6,065 million by the end of January 2025.
Accordingly, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka stated that a slight increase of 0.5% in official reserve assets is expected in February.
Meanwhile, the foreign exchange reserves, the main component of official reserve assets, are reported to have increased by 0.7% from US$ 5,986 million to US$ 6,031 million during February 2025.
