The order on whether or not to allow a petition filed by former minister Prasanna Ranaweera to be heard has been ordered to be announced on April 28.

It is reported that the Court of Appeal has issued this order after considering the relevant petition.

Prasanna Ranaweera has filed this petition seeking an order to prevent his arrest in connection with an incident in which gove ment land in the Kelaniya area was illegally deeded and sold.
