President Anura Kumara Dissanayake stated that steps will be taken to remove police officers who support drug traffickers from service.

Addressing the 159th Police Day celebration, the President further said that such officers will be given several opportunities to get rid of them, and if they do not, steps will be taken to remove them from service.
