IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon, who was remanded in custody in connection with the shooting incident that took place in front of a Weligama hotel, was ordered to be released on bail today (10).

This was done by the Matara Magistrate's Court.

It is reported that he has been ordered to be released on two sureties of Rs. 1 million each.
