The Meteorological Department has issued a wa ing notice regarding heavy lightning for the districts of Kalutara, Ratnapura, Galle, and Matara.

The notice states that the people in the relevant areas are advised to be careful.

The Meteorological Department further stated that temporary strong winds may also occur in those areas during the thunderstorms.
