IGP Deshabandu Tennakoon, who has been suspended from work, has been ordered to be remanded again today (03).

This was done by the Matara Magistrate's Court.

He was remanded until today after being produced before the court on the 20th in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in the Weligama area in 2023.

Accordingly, he has been ordered to be remanded until the 10th of next month after being produced before the court today.
