The first cabinet meeting of the newly formed gove ment is set to take place today (19) at 10 a.m., chaired by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake.

This follows the swearing-in of the 22-member cabinet yesterday (18) mo ing.

Meanwhile, deputy ministers are expected to take their oaths tomorrow (20), although the final number of deputy ministerial positions has yet to be decided.
