The Irrigation Department has updated its previous wa ing message issued last Saturday (1).

According to the Red color flood wa ing message, there is a high possibility of slowly increasing prevailing flood lowline areas of Kiriella, Millaniya, Ingiriya, Horana, Dodangoda, Bulathsinhala, Palinda Nuwara, and Madurawala Divisional Secretary's Divisions of Ratnapura and Kalutara Districts, up to next 48 hours.

The flood situation prevailing at upstream lowlines of Ratnapura District will further prevail with a slight decrease.

The residents and vehicle drivers running through those areas are requested to pay high attention in this regard.
