The water sources supplying water to Deniyaya town and schools have been revealed to be unsafe, says Southe Provincial Health Services Director Dr. N. G. S. Panditharatne.

He stated that the expert medical team sent to investigate the outbreak has revealed this in its report.

Accordingly, steps have been taken to chlorinate the relevant water sources, he further stated.
