Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya stated that Sri Lanka is committed to advancing the rights and well-being of women and girls in Sri Lanka, as well as protecting their rights to dignity and equality, and to translating existing principles into practical action.

This was while participating in the opening ceremony of the 2025 Global Leaders’ Summit on Women held at the China National Convention Center (CNCC) in Beijing today (13) at the invitation of the Gove ment of the People’s Republic of China.
