The Inland Revenue Department has exceeded its revenue targets and generated additional tax revenue of Rs. 50 billion.

Issuing a statement, Deputy Minister of Finance and Planning Dr. Anil Jayantha Fe ando stated that increasing taxpayer confidence by minimizing waste was a reason for the Inland Revenue Department to exceed its revenue targets.
